One of our readers actually emailed us the link. This video is from the Enspire Learning Network and does a really good job at clearly explaining the current financial crisis.
This is not our first post on ‘understanding the financial crisis’ but this is probably the clearest explanation: it explains how mortgage based assets were bought and sold in the hope of making money from the interest payments, how this strategy worked until the combination of leverage and riskier assets lead to the financial meltdown we are witnessing today…
